Arcade?
The available selections (matching, multiple choice, flash cards, etc.) are described as being “games”. These activities are not games at all. They are educational resources and should not be marketed as games. When has a multiple choice quiz ever been considered a game?

Vocab Blocked
I tried using this for a character trait activity (match the trait to the character), using vocabulary from the novel we are reading (Dracula). It would not let me use some vocabulary words, like “voluptuous” (which Bram Stoker uses multiple times to describe Lucy). I don’t think this is designed for high school level classes.

Great - needs TWO things
I LOVE IT. 2 requests: we need to have up to about 25 answers. Seems limited to about 7-8 right now. Second: I need kids to see the correct answers vs theirs when they check the answers Bravo, though. Love this.

Question amounts
Please let us have more than 6 questions. I do this for Spanish warm ups and I love the matching a word to picture but would love the ability for it to do more than 6 at once. 12 would be ideal!

Student Creation of Qeustions/Games
Create a way for a teacher to collect student generated questions and answers. Maybe a Padlet template that could be fed to the Arcade platform?

Random Game Option
Love the quick easy way to create interactive games! Would be amazing if there were perhaps a core set of games (Matching, Sorting, Memory tiles, Flash Cards for example) that randomized the game the students got with one set of uploaded/teacher created input. Sort of like the Surprise Me button for the teachers, but student facing so when a student clicks the link they get different styles of games with the same content to reinforce concepts in a variety of ways.

Arcade feedback
Initially setup is a little clunky. Would benefit from being able to select number of questions at the front end rather than having to edit it after creation. Better analytics on leaderboard so you can drill into what questions were answered wrong

Edit games content
The AI feature is excellent for generating games quickly. However, I’ve noticed the content isn’t always aligned with what I want the students to learn. It would therefore be really useful to have the option to edit the game manually, including adding our own questions and answers. Thank you!

Helpful Feedback 🙂
I tried this with my fifth graders, and they really liked it. However, I would suggest a few enhancements to make the activity even more engaging. Firstly, it would be great to have a live leaderboard so students can see their scores in real time. Secondly, adding theme music during gameplay would make the experience more exciting. Lastly, an option to include pictures along with the text would really help to jazz things up.

Some arcades spark a lot of Class interest. Some do not. Give tips on making the best. Sounds of losers are very popular 😀

Gamify Arcade
Would love to feel like I’m earning something as I play (or build) games. Avatars, Avatar borders, leaderboard backgrounds, levels, etc. Daily streaks.
